At a press conference held Wednesday at Richmond, the principals of Millennium Motorsports, Inc. and Bobby Hillin Racing announced a formal merger between their two organizations that takes effect immediately. Bobby Hillin, Jr., principal driver and managing partner of the #8 Chevy in the BGN and Angelo S. Rotella, President and CEO of Millennium Motorsports made the announcement jointly. The move allows Hillin to focus more on his driving and less on the business side of this industry. It is their goal to not only secure a sponsor for the remainder of the 1999 season, but to also provide full sponsorship funding for the 2000 campaign. Millennium Motorsports, Inc. is a North Carolina corporation with principal offices located in Charlotte.
