New Jersey based T.R.I.X. Racing and America Online Racing ARCA Bondo/ Mar-Hyde Supercar Series driver Andy Belmont announced the formation of a NASCAR Winston Cup Series partnership. Belmont and T.R.I.X. Racing, Inc. owners Ted Walters and George Pywowariw are combining their resources for three Winston Cup races beginning this weekend at New Hampshire. Belmont will drive a Ford Taurus carrying the T.R.I.X. Racing #79 and the familiar America Online Racing blue and yellow paint scheme. T.R.I.X. Racing, headquartered in Toms River, N.J., plans to participate with Belmont in the MBNA Gold 400 at Dover Downs (DE) International Speedway on September 26th and the Pop Secret Microwave Popcorn 400 at the North Carolina Speedway(The Rock) on October 24th. Belmont has ten previous Winston Cup starts and was runner-up to Jimmy Hensley in the 1992 Rookie of the Year standings. He is currently seventh in championship points in ARCA.
