Team owner Robert Yates has signed Ricky Rudd of Chesapeake, Virginia, to drive the #28 Texaco/Havoline Ford, starting in the 2000 NASCAR Winston Cup Series season(In part from a Texaco in house release) no term or other details just comments from all involved but I do hear Yates has purchased Rudd’s building, so it looks like Rudd’s #10 team will cease to exist.
