New Cup Team..eventually?

UPDATE: Doc Watson, a Pennsylvania racer who has driven in the ARCA series, is combining with Minnesota Vikings coach Dennis Green to start a new racing team. Known as Watson Green Motorsports, the team plans to enter five or six ARCA races this year, according to Watson. Next year, they’ll run a full ARCA schedule. Eventually, they hope to move into NASCAR’s BGN or Cup series( That’s Racin’ ) — UPDATE: Doc Watson plans to open a team shop in Richmond, Va., this fall. Watson, who co-owns a team with a group that includes Minnesota Vikings coach Dennis Green, said he is looking for a site near Junie Donlaveys 26,000 square-foot facility off Midlothian Turnpike. Watson plans to run two ARCA teams and eventually a Winston Cup team. Sprint car driver Rebecca Anderson, who has won three 360 Sprint races this season, is testing an ARCA car for Watson this week. The owner says he is not buying into or competing with Donlaveys current operation. If he can have his Winston Cup effort ready in time, he plans to run the races that run concurrently with ARCA events next season.
