From NOL: Adam Petty was taken by ambulance to nearby Kent General Hospital. He was examined and released to return to the track. That was good news, but it didn’t do much to soothe father Kyle Petty’s feelings toward Jeff Green(who was involved in the incident). Green said the accident wasn’t his fault, but Kyle Petty wasn’t buying it. ?????His hip’s sore, his elbows are sore and he’s beat up pretty good,???? the elder Petty said. ?????He run a great race. He did good from the beginning. He come from a long way back up there. I would expect a little bit more out of Jeff Green than what he showed out there. I guess that’s why he doesn’t have a Winston Cup ride, why he’s running a Busch car.????(9-26-1999)
