Team Marines Racing principal Rick Rathbun and Parker Racing owner Hank Parker announced that the #53 BGN Chevys driven by Raybestos Rookie of the Year candidate Hank Parker Jr. would carry co-primary sponsorship for the five races remaining in the 1999 season. The first event for the Team Marines/B.A.S.S. Chevy will be the All Pro Bumper to Bumper 300 at Lowe’s Motor Speedway. This unique sponsorship arrangement will continue for the balance of the season as negotiations between Rathbun, the owner of the Team Marines Racing program and the Parkers continue in an effort to establish a long-term relationship that would continue through the 2000 season(NOL)(10-1-1999)
