Ryan Pemberton is rumored to be the possible crew chief for Jeremy Mayfield and the #12 Mobil One team(TNN’s Raceday) AND Pemberton is the leading candidate to join driver Wally Dallenbach with Galaxy Motorsports’ #75 Fords next season as Dallenbach’s crew chief. Pemberton is currently exploring several options. He is also being considered for the crew chief duties with the #25 Hendrick Motorsports Chevy and has also been mentioned in conjunction with the new Winston Cup teams debuting next season with owners Cal Wells and A.J. Foyt( That’s Racin’ ) — UPDATE: I hear that current #12 crew chief, Peter Sospenzo, recently reupped to be the crew chief for Mayfield and the #12 through 2001 and that no one with Penske-Kranefuss Racing has spoken with Pemberton about the crew chief position
