NASCAR has sued a Chicago man claiming that he is infringing on their trademark by operating an Internet site called nascarstore. NASCAR, which filed the suit on Tuesday in U.S. District Court in Chicago, says in the suit that Robert Freeman of Chicago is misleading people who visit the site into believing that it’s owned and operated by the stock-car racing association.
