Expect news shortly of a contract extension among driver Tony Stewart, crew chief Greg Zipadelli and owner Joe Gibbs. Zipadelli said Friday he had not actually signed his contract but that he planned to do so shortly. His decision was related to a similar decision by Stewart. Some observers had read into the absence of new contracts with Gibbs an indication or suspicion that the two might be headed elsewhere.
