Ricky Rudd, who will shut down the team he owns at season’s end to go drive the #28 Fords for Yates next season, has decided to auction off his equipment. Rudd said the auction will likely be held the week after Thanksgiving, just a day or two(Dec. 1-2) before the Winston Cup awards banquet in New York City. Rudd sold the shop and the land surrounding it to Yates. The #28 team will be headquartered there next season( That’s Racin’ )
