Ryan Pemberton, crew chief for the #36 M&M’s MBII team, has made his decision about where to work next season, but hes not commenting until next weekend. Pemberton is expected to join the Doug Bawel-owned #77 team with driver Robert Pressley( Times-Dispatch ) BUT on Sunday’s Raceday(TNN) Bob Dillner reported that Pemberton will be announcing soon that he will be crew chief for Robby Gordon’s Cup team in 2000. Supposedly a sponsor announcement as well. It was reported that Pemberton was at the CART finale last week with Gordon(TNN’s Raceday) — UPDATE 2: Jasper Motorsports announced today that Ryan Pemberton will take over the Crew Chief duties next year for the #77 Jasper Engines Fords driven by Robert Pressley. The team made the announcement from Homestead Motorsports Complex. Ryan Pemberton, a member of the prestigious Crew Chief Club, comes to the Jasper Motorsports team after three years at the helm of the MB2 Motorsports M&Ms Pontiac with driver Ernie Irvan, and more recently, Jerry Nadeau(Jasper Engines Team PR)
