I hear the #7 Mattei Motorsports deal will be structured like this: Philips Lighting goes on rear quarter panels (where Klaussner is now), the decklid(trunk) and TV Panel(rear), NationsRent will be the hood, and Klaussner stays as an associate in from of the rear wheels. At Dover, Richmond and The Winston, I hear they will run an all-Philips Lighting scheme. NationsRent supposedly signs on for a three year deal(anon source) — UPDATE: Will be announced Saturday at Homestead(NOL) — UPDATE 3: NationsRent, a leading construction equipment rental company, confirmed Saturday that it would become sponsor of Mattei Motorsports’ #7 and driver Michael Waltrip, replacing Philips Electronics, Mattei’s partner this season.
