Joe Karasinski, a pit crew member with the #75 Fords driven by Wally Dallenbach, was treated at the speedway’s infield car center Sunday for burns to the left side of his face and neck. Karasinski sustained the burns from a gas fire in the pit stall, following a pit stop by Dallenbach. Karasinski was treated with ointment, bandaged and released but told to follow up with his personal physician when he arrived home(That’s Racin’), get well Joe!(2-28-2000)
