Dale Earnhardt will join Alabama State Troopers in issuing tickets to law-abiding drivers during a Thursday freeway patrol. Earnhardt will not be handing out speeding citations, but rather tickets to the April 16 DieHard 500 NASCAR Winston Cup series race at Talladega Superspeedway. In addition to promoting the upcoming races at Talladega Superspeedway, the freeway ticket giveaway is also designed to help the Alabama State Troopers bring awareness to highway safety.
