Dick Trickle will drive the #60 Power Team Chevy in the Cup race at Talladega after a hard wreck in Saturday’s BGN race there. Trickle suffered a bruised foot when he was hit on the driver’s side by Randy LaJoie. LaJoie was temporarily knocked unconscious, regained alertness and was taken to Caraway Methodist Medical Center for a CAT scan. No other serious injuries were reported in the race(Speed Magazine)(4-16-200) UPDATE: Randy LaJoie was scheduled to be released Sunday night from Carraway Methodist Medical Center in Birmingham, AL. LaJoie suffered a mild concussion in a crash during the BGN race at Talladega. Results from a CAT scan didn’t turn up any problems, so LaJoie will be sent home(Total Sports)(4-17-2000)
