With a second place finish and 188 laps completed this week in Talladega, Mike Skinner raised $5,828 for the American Red Cross’ disaster relief fund as part of the “Racing for Relief” program. To date, Skinner has raised a total of $42,620. With one race remaining, Skinner has already made a significant contribution that we hope you will consider using in your post-race coverage. Again, as part of the “Racing for Relief” program, Lowe’s donates $31 (Skinner’s number) to the Red Cross disaster relief fund for every lap Skinner completes and $1,031 for every lap lead during April, the beginning of severe weather season(PR)(4-21-2000)
