Derrike Cope will be on ESPN2’s RPM2 Night Thursday to make an announcement, not sure if the #61 BGN ride is it or if he has found a Cup or other ride, actually John Kernan said it is for Winston Cup and the announcement is HUGE UPDATE: Derrike Cope has partnered with NHRA Pro-Stock Legend Warren Johnson to form a new Winston Cup team with plans to run in the 2001 season. The car will be a GM Product(Chevy/Pontiac). The team will get it’s first car in July and hopes to do extensive wind tunnel and engine testing later in the season. No sponsors yet they are meeting with sponsors for the team.
