NASCAR officials announced they have levied a penalty for a rule violation found at Texas Motor Speedway last week. Richard A. Ren II, crew chief for the #60 Andy Houston CAT Rental team been fined $2,000 for violations of the 2000 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series rule book Section 12-4-W: ‘added weight in less than five (5) pound blocks (pellets).
