hearing that Wally Dallenbach and Cup Owner/hunting partner Richard Childress are talking about a possible third RCR team (in addition to the #3 and #31 team) for Dallenbach to run in 2001….but this rumor has came up before the last few seasons….(6-30-2000) UPDATE: during a Wally Dallenbach Teleconference, Dallenbach says he is staying at Galaxy Motorsports #75 team: “Richard and I have talked every year for about the last six years about doing a third team. To be honest with you, I’m very happy driving for Darwin (Oordt) and Galaxy Motorsports. We do have to put a sponsorship package together and as long as we can put a strong sponsorship package together for this team for the next three years, I’m staying. I’ve put a lot of work and effort into building this team to where it’s at. We’re halfway there. From the start of the season until now, I’m real proud of what we have accomplished, but there’s a lot of work ahead. I really hate to just throw that all away.
