Many Cup drivers/teams will test at Watkins Glen International on Monday July 24, 2000, to prepare for the Global Crossing @ the Glen on August 13, 2000. Scheduled to test: #6-Mark Martin; #3-Dale Earnhardt; #94-Bill Elliott; #28-Ricky Rudd; #20-Tony Stewart; #87-Ron Fellows; #25-Jerry Nadeau; #99-Jeff Burton; #22-Ward Burton: #17-Matt Kenseth; #16-Kevin LePage; #97-Chad Little(Watkins Glen PR)(7-18-2000) UPDATE: Many Winston Cup teams were at the Watkins Glen on Monday in preparation for the Global Crossing @ The Glen that will be coming up on August 13. #87-Ron Fellows was fastest in the overall test session for Monday. He was followed by #23-Boris Said and #6-Mark Martin. All of the drivers have surpassed the track record that was set at 121.234 mph by Rusty Wallaces pole winning lap at last years Frontier @ The Glen. #3-Dale Earnhardt wrecked coming across the Innerloop. No major damage was done, however a few parts to the rear suspension had to be changed. #94-Bill Elliott, #25-Jerry Nadeau, #20-Tony Stewart, #97-Chad Little, #17- Matt Kenseth and #93-Dave Blaney all tested.
