#90 Ford owner Junie Donlavey, Ed Berrier and crew chief Dean Johnson have agreed to go their separate ways, according to Donlavey. Despite the hard work that everyone has put into this program, we were not getting the results we know we can produce, Donlavey said. Its not any one persons fault. Everyone put forth their best effort but there was a lack of chemistry on this team, and Ed and Dean and I agreed that it would be best for everyone if we ended the relationship and moved forward. Berrier was in his rookie season as driver of Donlaveys Hills Bros Coffee Fords in the Winston Cup Series. Johnson was hired in May as crew chief. The change takes effect immediately. Donlavey has not announced replacements for Berrier or Johnson(Hills Bros Racing/Keystone Marketing) AND Berrier was planning to weigh his options before making a decision on his future. Im going to sit back and see what happens, he said. Im not going to try to rush into anything. Donlavey plans to make the trek to Indianapolis Motor Speedway next week. He is considering Hut Stricklin, Gary Bradberry and Morgan Shepherd as possible replacements.
