Allen stays in the ASA, for now: Owner Bud Gebben of Michigan-based Automotive Promotions has reached an agreement with ASA ACDelco Series veteran Glenn Allen Jr. of Cincinnati to continue as driver of the #4 GM Goodwrench Service Plus Pontiac through the r emainder of the 2000 season. That will include the entire second half of the 20-event season. Allen has competed in recent ASA ACDelco Series events at Chicago Motor Speedway and Salem Speedway, recording finishes of 11th and fifth respectively.
