CART driver and former CART champ, Jimmy Vasser, will leave Ganassi Racing at the end of the 2000 CART season. Vasser, who says he’d like to race two or three more years, could have several options in the CART paddock or possibly the Indy Racing League.(SpeedNet) AND On Saturday, Vasser, who had one year left on his contract with Ganassi, was open to the idea of giving NASCAR a chance. “I would consider almost anything,” he said. “The grass is always greener, too, isn’t it?
