Green 200th, David: Friday’s Food City 250 at Bristol marks David Green’s 200th career Busch Series start. The 1994 Busch Series champion becomes the 24th driver to reach the elite benchmark. Ten drivers with more than 200 starts are still active in the Busch Series (Elton Sawyer, Phil Parsons, Todd Bodine, Randy LaJoie, Tim Fedewa, Jason Keller, Mike McLaughlin, Hermie Sadler, Mark Martin and Jeff Burton). Green, drives the #34 AFG Glass Chevy. He made his debut at Hickory Motor Speedway on July 22, 1989. Two years later, in the first race of his rookie season and his fourth series start, Green grabbed his first pole. Ten races later, in his 12th start, he captured his first win.
