Melling Racing announced Saturday afternoon that BGN driver Bobby Hillin will drive the #9 Ford in Saturday night’s race at Bristol in place of regular driver Stacy Compton. Compton had broken his right collarbone while playing raquetball last Monday, but had practiced and qualified the car on Friday. Since Hillin did not qualify the car, he will have to move to the rear of the field to start the race(That’s Racin’). Compton will be in the car next week at Darlington Raceway(NOL)(8-26-2000)
