Dave Marcis, when he’s asked about last weekend’s race at Darlington Raceway, where he was involved in at least two wrecks, he won’t duck the issue. About the incident with leader Jeremy Mayfield, Marcis claims innocence. “I was not a lapped car,” Marcis said. “I was going to be if he got me, but I wasn’t yet. I had a good car.
