Grubb Leaves: Wayne Grubb, driver of the #83 Link-Belt Cranes Chevy fielded by family-owned Grubb Motorsports, offered his resignation today. After a difficult season, Grubb’s decision comes after missing Friday’s BGN race at Richmond. Grubb began his racing career with Grubb Motorsports in 1997, driving in a few select BGN events. Grubb has no immediate plans for the future, but wants to pursue other interests. He doesn’t plan to lose touch with the racing community, though, and will continue to be involved with Grubb Motorsports. A driver for Grubb Motorsports’ #83 entry will be named later this week(Grubb MS PR)(9-11-2000)
