The late Adam Petty will be remembered by fellow NASCAR drivers Lyndon Amick and Ken Schrader in Wednesday night’s ARCA race at Lowe’s Motor Speedway. The #99 ARCA entry, owned by Schrader and driven by Amick, will carry special decals in memory of Petty, the 19 year-old driver who lost his life in a racing accident in May at New Hampshire International Speedway. Amick says the tribute is meant to not only honor Petty’s memory, but also to commemorate Petty winning in his very first ARCA start, which came at Lowe’s Motor Speedway just over two years ago(That’s Racin’)(10-2-2000)
