Robbie Allison, sone of the late Davey Allison and Liz Alliosn, has decided to try auto racing. Allison, 9, will run in the Bandolero series near his Nashville, TN home. Rising Star who published a just released book on his father Davey, Full Circle — The Story of Davey Allison, will be an associate sponsor on Allison’s car(Winston Cup Scene)(10-20-2000) UPDATE: Robbie Allison will launch his racing career at Galaxy/Twin Fountains Raceway in Shelbyville, TN when he competes in the Galaxy Jr. Racing League in the spring of 2001. The series which utilizes the Galaxy Motorsports manufactured 1/2 scale Cup car is powered by a New Generation Honda V2 engine. In addition to the new Jr. League, Galaxy will expand its popular larger scale Pro-Challenge Series with introduction of the Kawasaki 1100 powered Pro-Series Cup car, which is capable of exceeding speeds of 100mph. Besides manufacturing racecars the company is in the second phase of acquiring over 100 short tracks that will be converted into family-friendly race facilities.
