#4 Owner, Larry McClure said first-year crew chief Danny Gill will remain with the #4 Kodak Chevy team in 2001(Bristol Herald Courier)(10-17-2000) UPDATE – #4 Crew Chief Leaves: Danny Gill, who joined Morgan-McClure Motorsports in July, has resigned as crew chief for the #4 Kodak MAX Film Chevy. The change is effective immediately. No interim crew chief will be announced at this time. Gill will be leaving to pursue other opportunities(Jayski: hearing the #55 team with Hamilton). Larry McClure, team owner, stated he will make a decision on who will take over the crew chief responsibilities for the remainder of the season at a later date(Morgan-McClure PR)(10-23-2000) UPDATE 2: Andy Petree Racing announced today it has named Danny Gill crew chief for driver Joe Nemechek and the #33 Oakwood Homes Racing team. Gill, 31, will take over for team owner and current crew chief Andy Petree. Gill will make his debut with the team at the Checker Auto Parts/Dura Lube 500 at Phoenix International Raceway next weekend.
