Brett Bodine has landed an engine deal with Robert Yates Racing for next season. Bodine will use Yates’ Ford engines instead of the Ernie Elliott motors he raced this season. Elliott will build Dodge engines next season. Bodine, meanwhile, is still trying to put together a sponsorship package that would allow older brother Geoffrey to race one of Brett’s cars during the final two races of the season and could possibly lead to a two-car Bodine operation next year. Before signing the deal with Yates, Bodine considered a possible switch to Dodge so he could continue his relationship with Elliott(Winston Cup Scene)(10-26-2000)
