On RPM2Nights last 2000 daily show, John Kernan reported that while Rick Mast has been mentioned as the driver for the #01 BellSouth Dodge in 2001, sponsor BellSouth supposedly wants BGN/ARCA driver Blasie Alexander(RPM2Night) AND Bobby Hamilton Jr. now is the leading candidate over Rick Mast to drive the #01 Chevrolet for next year. Hamilton, who started just the second career Winston Cup race of his career on Monday, had extensive meetings with team owners Chip Ganassi and Felix Sabates over the last couple of days(AJC)(11-21-2000)
