Jerry Nadeaus race winning sponsor, Michael Holigan, has scrapped plans to take an active role in the sport next year, but after his teams only victory, promised he would be back. Holigan said he was close to buying an ARCA team, presently owned by Eddie Sharp, and converting it to compete in BGN next year. But, Holigan said, “My father and I talked about it and kind of had a heart-to-heart, and he asked me to sit on the fence for a year and not go racing.” Holigan wants to own a team and not merely sponsor it.
