Showers and clouds put a damper on the start of the second day of BGN testing at Daytona. By 11:30am/et the sun came out, and with the help of the speedways jet dryers, the surface of the track dried quickly. The first car rolled out of the garage area at 11:55am/et. By early afternoon, #35b-Lyndon Amick in a Chevy was on top of the speed chart with a fast lap of 182.556mph. He was followed closely by #10-Jeff Green who posted a lap of 182.024.
