Wallace Honors Driver: Helping induct Larry Phillips into the Ozarks Area Racers Association Hall of Fame was more than just a commitment fulfilled for Rusty Wallace. It was an honor, Wallace said. Phillips won five Winston Racing Series titles and more than 2,500 races as a driver. His proteges fill the Winston Cup garages. An estimated 3,000 people turned out Saturday at the Shrine Mosque in Springfield, MO to see Wallace and honor Phillips and nine other inductees. See full story at the Kansas City Star(1-31-2001)
