Aqua Velva, a household name since its after shave lotion was introduced in 1931, will be serving as primary sponsor of the #34 Cicci-Welliver BGN team driven by David Green for four races in 2001. Aqua Velva will be featured as primary sponsor on the #34 Chevrolet fielded by Cicci-Welliver Racing, one of the oldest and most successful BGN teams in history. Aqua Velva will be featured on the #34 Chevy at Talladega (April 21), Watkins Glen (July 8), Chicagoland (July 15), and Pikes Peak (July 28). The four races selected are geographically positioned to allow JB Williams Company to leverage its NASCAR involvement with the regional Aqua Velva Drivers Wanted Sweepstakes.
