Sponsorship Motorsports, Inc. was founded on the principle of keeping fans in racing. Sponsorship Motorsports has selected two young drivers to start our season for 2001. Their Late Model driver Woody Howard, and their Late Model and Busch driver Jason Rudd. Their 2001 season will be Late Model racing at Langley Speedway and Southampton Motor Speedway(VA) with in-between races at other tracks. The team plans a Busch effort of 2-3 races for 2001 at Richmond International or similar tracks. Plans are to compete full time in BGN with Rudd and limited(2) Winston Cup starts for Jason, and a full Late Model schedule and 4-5 Busch races for Howard, with a new driver coming in their Late Model program. In 2003 the team plans to jump to Winston Cup with Rudd as the driver with Jason with continued involvement in Late Model and full Busch series(Sponsorship Motorsports)(1-9-2001)

UPDATE 2: Jason Rudd has been asked by Jimmy Means to drive a his backup car at Rockingham this Saturday to gain some experience on a one mile track. NASCAR has accepted his entry and Jason will be driving #52 which was his grandfather’s number.
