Impact Motorsports, Inc., has signed Jason White to pilot the companys entry in next weeks Orchard Supply Hardware 250 at Bakersfield, CA. White, 21, is a native of Richmond who now lives in Powhatan, Va. He will take the wheel of the #86 National Wild Turkey Federation Ford driven by Winston Cup veteran Derrike Cope in the opening two races of the 2001 season. Cope wants to focus more of his energies on developing a strong Winston Cup Series program, expanding his shock companys presence within the motorsports industry, and succeeding in his newest challenge as an analyst for FOX Sports. Dave Fuge, Jr., has been named to serve as crew chief for the #86 team. The Orchard Supply Hardware 250 will be run Saturday, March 17, at Mesa Marin Raceway in Bakersfield.
