David Starr, who will compete in Friday night’s CTS race at Texas, is hoping to work out a deal with A.J. Foyt Racing to drive a second Busch car for Foyt’s team on a full-time basis next season. Starr drove a Busch car for Foyt at Texas in March. Larry Foyt, A.J.’s youngest son, drives the #14 Harrah’s Chevy as a rookie in the BGN series this year. Starr will join Larry Foyt next season if the team can secure a second sponsor. Foyt is confident he can find sponsorship, even though several BGN teams are struggling this season to find major sponsors(Dallas Morning News)(6-8-2001)
