Busch Tests at Pocono: Earlier this week rookie Kurt Busch had the opportunity to spend a couple of days testing at Pocono Raceway. Pocono is one of the tracks on the Winston Cup circuit that Busch had never seen prior to Monday’s testing session. The #97 Sharpie Rubbermaid team felt that gaining some track experience there would definitely benefit them next weekend in the Pocono 500. Rookies are given the opportunity to test at several additional tracks throughout the season than veteran Winston Cup drivers which often times helps with the already steep learning curve for a rookie driver.(Roush Racing)(6-8-2001)
