Ted Musgrave has gotten the call to run Buckshot Racing’s BGN #00 car at Kentucky on June 16th(NASCAR.com)(6-8-2001)
UPDATE: Buckshot Racing announced that Ted Musgrave would drive its #00 BGN car at the race at Kentucky Speedway, June 15-16. This is a one-race deal between Buckshot Racing and Musgrave, who currently drives the #1 Mopar Performance Dodge in the CTS. Buckshot Racing has competed in 13 of the first 15 Busch Series races of the season, with Todd Bodine driving 12 times and Buckshot Jones driving once. The team has two victories (North Carolina Speedway and Las Vegas Motor Speedway) and six top-10s overall. The #00 Buckshot Racing team, which has competed in the BGN since 1996, is currently unsponsored. UPDATE 2: Tim Fedewa was named Monday to drive Buckshot Racings #00 Chevrolet at Kentucky this weekend. CTS driver Ted Musgrave was originally entered in the car as its previous drivers, Buckshot Jones and Todd Bodine, will be at Pocono running the Cup race. Cicci-Welliver Racing fired Fedewa from its #66 Chevrolet last week(NASCAR.com), supposedly Musgrave called and declined the ride as he had another oppurtunity, no idea what that is(6-12-2001)
