Teams from the CTS were scheduled to test at Talladega Superspeedway the week of July 23, utilizing the 390 cubic inch carburetor and special aerodynamic packages in an attempt to avoid using restrictor plates in 2002. Rumor has it the trucks will run at Daytona in July as well as February next year, meaning all three of NASCAR’s top series could be at Daytona for the July Fourth weekend.
