Kansas BGN Sponsor:A title sponsor has been signed for the BGN race at Kansas Speedway, and a sponsor for the Winston Cup race could be signed soon. The sponsor for the Busch race, which will be run Sept. 29, will be Mr. Goodcents Subs and Pasta. The sandwich company, which is based in Lenexa(KS), has agreed to sponsor the 300-mile race for the next three years and has an option to be title sponsor for the next 10 years. The race will be called the Mr. Goodcents 300. Grant Lynch, president of the speedway, said he expects to sign a title sponsor for the Winston Cup race, which will be run the day after the Busch race, in the coming weeks. He said corporate candidates to become sponsor of the 400-mile race have been reduced to one, and they’re close to a deal. The company will build an advertising and marketing campaign around the race. Terms of the deal were not announced(Kansas City Star).
