Tim Sauter back?:Sources say that Tim Sauter has a two-year program all but done with AP Performance, the team for which he won the 1999 ASA championship. Johnny Sauter is currently dominating that tour for Canadian owner Alec Pinsonneault. The team would be housed in a Mooresville, N.C. shop formerly owned by Ernie Irvan. Sponsorship is close to being signed. Sauter, who drove for Pinsonneault from 1998-2000, hasn’t driven in the Busch Series since his #61 Xpress Motorsports team shut down in June.(Winston Cup Scene – need sub to read)(8-23-2001)
