Harvick, trying to become the first driver to sweep a BGN-Cup doubleheader in the same Bristol weekend, clawed past Gordon on the next lap and ran up on the new leader’s bumper in traffic a couple of times thereafter. #24-Jeff Gordon finished 3rd and increased his points lead over Ricky Rudd to 308 points with #88-Dale Jarrett now 379 behind in 3rd. #5-Terry Labonte got his 3rd top 10 of the year finishing 10th, his last one?
