Kvapil to attempt Charlotte Cup race? UPDATE 2 no: Travis Kvapil driving an #60 Addington Racing Chevy Winston Cup car during testing at Charlotte this week (Tues the 18th and Wed the 19th), if all goes well Kvapil may attempt the UAW-GM Cup race at Lowes Motor Speedway(9-19-2001) UPDATE: since NASCAR moved the postponed Texas Truck race to the same weekend as the Cup race at Charlotte, there is no way the team can run both(9-19-2001) UPDATE: CTS driver Travis Kvapil made his first laps at Lowes Motor Speedway during testing Tuesday/Wednesday(Sept 18-19). Kvapil had hoped to make a qualifying attempt for the UAW-GM Quality 500, but the postponement of the Chevy Silverado 350 truck race at Texas Motor Speedway changed those plans.
