#33 Sponsor Update: Although Andy Petree, owner of the #33 and #55 Chevy’s, has landed a sponsor for the #55 car (Schneider Electric) for the next two seasons, Petree was still busy working the phones in his continuing search for a sponsor for the #33 Chevy (currently driven by Joe Nemechek and sponsored by Oakwood Homes) car next season. Petree said the Winston Cup going into a new market area like Kansas City should help him in his search. Oakwood Mobile Homes has been helping with the sponsor search and has even agreed to step back and allow Petrees new sponsor to take over immediately once all the papers and deals are confirmed.(Hendersonville Times-News)(9-27-2001)
