Sauer looking to stay in Cup? UPDATE: hearing C. F. Sauer Company, the current sponsor of the #27 Eel River Racing team, is looking to stay as a Cup sponsor in 2002, but with another team. Sauer currently has Duke’s Mayo on the #27 Pontiac and other assorted products(9-26-2001) UPDATE: hearing that Sauer reps met with the #90 team over the weekend at Dover, Sauer is from Richmond, VA where the #90 Donlavey Racing is based. Hut Stricklin currently is the driver(9-27-2001)
