AND NBC and Fox officials are ordering unspecified cutbacks in next year’s Winston Cup coverage, according to TV sources. Fox has already been talking with NASCAR officials about renegotiating its contract because of the difficult ad sales market.(Winston Salem Journal) AND Former Winston Cup driver Wally Dallenbach said this morning [Sunday] that NBC has picked up his option for next year, which means that NBC will employee him if he agrees to the terms. Dallenbach also said that he didn’t feel like the offer from NBC was strong enough to keep him out of a race car. Once again, he is trying to put together a deal for an Indy Racing League ride.
