New #6 Car Chief: Joe Dan Bailey, a member of Dale Earnhardt championship teams at Richard Childress Racing in 1993 and 1994 who later moved to Penske-Kranefuss Racing and most recently worked with Shawna Robinson, is the new car chief on the No. 6 Fords owned by Roush Racing and driven by Mark Martin. Bailey, 37, will join with Martin’s new crew chief, Ben Leslie, in leading the team next season.(That’s Racin’)(12-11-2001)
